daoud: The French-Moroccan trumpeter combines jazz with inspirations from hip-hop, R'n'B and electronic music - a juggling act of rap, jazz, pop and electronica from the last six decades, fed by the feeling of not quite belonging in the over-serious jazz scene. A musical palette of groovy sounds and sparkling inventiveness, captivating and entertaining at the same time, with just the right amount of irony.

His debut album "Good Boy" (2024) is the best proof of this. It's no coincidence that critics named it one of the most interesting new releases of 2024.
