Additional show for Willi Ostermann & The old Cologne in color. After the completely sold-out screening in June, there will be another opportunity on August 21 to marvel at "Old Cologne in Color", a breathtaking film journey into the undestroyed Cologne of the pre-war era. The selection of colorized film footage from all corners of the city is overwhelming. These are the impressive fruits of over 20 years of research, which the Cologne journalist Hermann Rheindorf has collected from all over the world. The journey through time and the often astonishing stories behind the film footage are presented by Christian Brückner, one of the best-known speakers of our time. The cinema evening begins with a top-class supporting program: Willi Ostermann speaks - Hermann Rheindorf reports on a spectacular new film discovery and shows, among other things, how he tried to find out what Ostermann was talking into the camera 100 years ago with the help of a lip reader. There will also be talk and music with guests: JP Weber and Ralf Schlegelmilch, President of the Willi Ostermann Society, will be there again.
