A mobile theater fairy tale

The production can also be taken to daycare centers and schools on request.

One fine day it turns up. The thing. Just like that. What is it? Where does it come from? What does it want? And what is it there for? Plümmel and Schnurz, who discover it by chance, ask lots of questions. But the thing doesn't answer them. "Kind of creepy", says Plümmel, "Pretty weird", says Schnurz. "Really nice", they both agree. And decide to make friends with the thingamabob, build a cozy home for them all and make sure that no one comes and questions whether the thingamabob belongs to them from now on. They would much rather invite everyone to a big whatchamacallit party. Because who knows - maybe other whatchamacallits will turn up? If so, they definitely want to be prepared and give them a proper welcome.

With childlike curiosity, a great sense of adventure and the means of theater, director Damira Schumacher and her ensemble explore an object that no one knows, but which puts everyone in a state of joyful excitement. They turn existing categories upside down and invent their own little universe in which there is a place for everyone - things and people. A play with loud and quiet sounds, poetic moments, philosophical questions and lots of colors that will enchant audiences at the Lutz as well as in daycare centers and elementary school.
