Das doppelte Lottchen – Dubbelt höllt beter

In the organizer's words:

During the vacations, Lotte and Luise meet at a children's camp. They look so much alike! They soon find out that they can only be twins and were probably torn apart when their parents separated. After the initial shock, the two grow closer and ask themselves how their parents could simply separate them. They want to get to the bottom of this and make the daring plan to swap roles after the vacations: Luise, who is growing up with her father, goes to live with her mother in Schleswig-Holstein and Lotte goes to live with her father, who is a musician in Hamburg. They slip into each other's lives. This causes a lot of turbulence.

After Emil un de Detektive and Pünktchen un Anton, the third Kästner is now on the repertoire at the Ohnsorg Studio. In this classic set in northern Germany, Lotte teaches her twin sister Low German and the audience learns the language too.
