Das Ende von Iflingen

Iflingen. A place that urgently needs to be "tidied up". Two angels are given the task of putting things in order. While one is firmly convinced that everything must go according to plan, the other suddenly begins to have doubts. In a chaotic and heavenly clash of files and generations, a maelstrom develops, with the burden of obedience dragging at its foot. When a hedgehog intervenes and throws everything out of kilter, it becomes clear that perhaps the small print in the employment contract should be read again.

"The End of Iflingen" is a funny, absurd trip between entrenched principles and burgeoning doubt. An invitation to look into the void, to feel the insanity of order and to be driven by uncertainty. What happens when we question the system that sustains us?

The collective Après SHE* has existed since April 2022 with a changing cast and was founded by Tina Bolle and Paulina Stert. The adaptation and production of Wolfram Lotz's "Das Ende von Iflingen" is the collective's fourth theater production and its first collaboration with the Cammerspiele Leipzig.
