by Leo Hoffmann
The little yellow house has had enough! The people who live in it no longer see how special it is! So it leaves its family and sets off in search of a better home. She bravely wanders into the forest. There she finds a wonderful clearing and lots of animal friends, but the place is not ideal. So the little yellow house moves to the bottom of the lake. But at some point it gets too wet. The desert also has its pitfalls... In his search, the little yellow house learns to set boundaries, negotiate compromises and go his own way.
After "Oh, what a Lovely Afternoon!", which premiered in 2004 at the Akademietheater in Munich, "Das kleine gelbe Haus" is the second play for young audiences that author Leo Hoffmann and director Annette Geller have staged together.
The children's book "Das kleine gelbe Haus" by Leo Hoffmann was published in 2022 by Verlag Freies Geistesleben, Stuttgart.
