The shady entrepreneur Zsa-Zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro) has made a great fortune

His daughter Liesel (Mia Threapleton), whom he has chosen as his sole heir, and his assistant Björn (Michael Cera) are there to help him. The basic theme of director Wes Anderson's new film is the question of moral behavior in capitalist business practices. But you can also simply have fun with the bizarre characters, the numerous hilarious scenes and running gags, as well as the ensemble cast, which once again includes a star-studded supporting cast. However, the absurd events are also mixed with a biting, macabre humour and a stylized brutality that is unusual for Anderson, to which the main character in particular falls victim time and again. A typical Wes Anderson in pastel colors, with retro charm and scenes that look like moving paintings or photo prints - a visual work of art and entertaining pleasure.
