Das mit dem Hamster tut uns leid

In the organizer's words:

Funny songs, cheerful stories and dramatic rodent fates with Thomas Franz and Christian Gottschalk.

Since 2014, Christian Gottschalk (Cologne) and Thomas Franz (Munich) have been performing variations of their program in Berlin every year, in which the mortality of hamsters only plays a marginal role. The audience has always been totally enthusiastic (by Berlin standards).
Now the two exceptional artists (caution, not a protected term) are finally performing in Cologne.
Franz poses many questions in his songs: aren't we all just mammals in the end? Why is the bee hotel industry in crisis? What can we learn from a bag of household waste? And should we perhaps join a sect?
Gottschalk's texts - never actually angry but occasionally disappointed - also deal with all the important topics of our time: hatred of furniture, the underestimated romance of metabolism, the impositions of late capitalism.
Together they really do cover everything. You can expect thoughts, jokes and melodies - for millions, or just for the small Asimmetric Bar.
