It rolls off! Risks posed by PFAS for the environment

PFAS - so-called "perpetual chemicals" - are found in countless everyday products, from outdoor clothing and cookware to fire extinguishing agents. However, their supposedly practical properties make them a growing environmental and health hazard. What are the risks? What alternatives are there? And what about regulation?

These questions will be addressed by Frankfurt scientists from Goethe University and the ISOE - Institute for Social-Ecological Research in the fields of environmental toxicology, risk communication and chemicals policy. Learn more about current research, political developments and the challenges of reducing PFAS in our environment on this evening.
