On May 4, 2019, the Ruhr region experienced a unique cultural highlight with the spectacular premiere of "Das RUHRICAL". The theater stage became the pulse of the Ruhr region. The power, potential and creativity of the Ruhr area came to the theater, full of passion and emotion. "The RUHRICAL" is now coming back!

The most impressive backdrop to this theatrical experience is undoubtedly the world's largest stage backdrop radio with impressive dimensions of 8x4 meters. From here, theatergoers receive the unmistakable SOUND FROM HERE from the five-piece live band. The greatest hits of the Ruhr region's most famous artists are presented live to the audience, bringing the unique musical identity to life with many surprises.
Urban dance choreographies that take the audience directly into the staging of the RUHRICAL create a rousing atmosphere. State-of-the-art digitally animated 11x5 meter stage sets, created in close collaboration with the Theater and Digitality department of the Schauspielhaus Dortmund, transport visitors to the unique locations of the Ruhr region. A first-class light show and a sophisticated sound design accompany the almost three-hour RUHRICAL show, which offers the best entertainment in live form and transports the audience into the wonderful world of the Ruhr region with all its emotions and unique passion.
