David Celia & Co
An unforgettable evening with David Celia, the world-class Canadian guitarist and singer-songwriter who has been conquering the stages of North America and Europe for over 25 years. With four released albums under his belt and an impressive live biography that began in 2002 with the LP "Organica", David is now bringing his family on tour with him.
For the first time, his sons Lukas and Markus will join him on stage to play the full-length album "Organica" - the album they listened to as babies. Lucas, to whom a song on the album is also dedicated, will play bass, Marcus will play guitar and Clifford Rutherford will complete the band on drums. This tour is a special adventure for the family and a unique, heart-warming experience for all lovers of handmade music.
David Celia, who is no longer a stranger to this country after his many years of collaboration with the Heidelberg singer Marla Moya, brings a typically Canadian sound with influences from folk, indie and country to Europe. His music is reminiscent of greats such as Neil Young, The Beatles and The Byrds and offers a timeless mix of psychedelic, rock and acoustic sounds. Between polyphonic vocals, breathtaking guitar solos and surprising lyrics, there is also room for poignant and thoughtful moments.
The album "Organica" will be released on vinyl for the first time to coincide with the tour, having previously only been available on CD. Look forward to a heart-warming and captivating show celebrating the musical journey of David Celia and his family. After a short tour of Germany with his sons, David Celia will play further shows in England and France, including at the renowned Glastonbury Festival.
