David Tarakona is a guitarist, songwriter and singer in the German country and southern rock scene. His songs combine country and heavy metal to create modern, exuberant rock music that lyrically covers everything from heartache to beer consumption.

Country is much more than the cliché-laden image of banjo-playing hillbillies and cowboys riding off into the sunset. It's about passion, adventure and honesty. Real life is hard enough! No need to make up stories. It's about striving for more and taking risks. No one can teach you how to be happy. You have to figure it out for yourself, even if it means suffering painful setbacks.
