After a successful European tour in 2023 and seven sold-out concerts in Germany, Swedish metalcore band DEAD BY APRIL are back. In 2024, the band will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album "Dead by April" and that's not all: Their new record "The Affliction" was also released on January 26, 2024 and will be presented live on stage for the first time on the autumn tour. A year dedicated to DEAD BY APRIL! Tickets will be available from Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. exclusively at wwww.eventim.de and from Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10 a.m. at all known advance booking offices.

Founded in Gothenburg in 2007, DEAD BY APRIL have made a name for themselves in the scene with their unique fusion of metal, rock and electronic elements. The combination of aggressive guitar riffs, melodic hooks and electronic influences gives their music a characteristic sound that transcends the boundaries of different genres. Their debut album "Dead by April", released in 2009, reached number 2 in the Swedish charts and included the international hit single "Losing You", which topped the rock charts worldwide and has been certified platinum more than six times to date.

Christopher Kristensen (screams), Pontus Hjelm (guitar/vocals), Marcus Rosell (drums) and Marcus Wesslén (bass) make DEAD BY APRIL a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene and with more than 300 million streams on Spotify, 70 million streams on YouTube, multi-platinum and gold, they are one of Sweden's biggest electro-rock exports of the modern era. Since their breakthrough in 2009, the band has released several albums, including "Incomparable" (2011), "Let the World Know" (2014) and "Worlds Collide" (2017). Each album shows the band's creative development and their distinctive style.

With their new album "The Affliction", they once again demonstrate their versatile sound palette. Never before has there been so much experimentation on a DEAD BY APRIL album. With five collaborations, a remix, rap parts and the old Linkin Park feel, the album promises completely new, musical live moments from the band on stage.

In six German cities, fans will have the chance to experience DEAD BY APRIL's energetic live show, celebrate the anniversary of the debut album as well as the brand new album and party with the band! This will undoubtedly be a highlight for all metal and rock fans!
