On the menu today is a menu with a difference, three main courses will be served. The finest ingredients, freshly prepared and tastily served, promise a real treat for gourmets of progressive rock and metal music. As a hand drink, we recommend a cold bowl of hoppy and malty beer. Enjoy!

DEAFCON5 | Album release

In June 2024, the fourth longplayer from the Deafcon5 forge in Hamburg will be released. The idea for the conceptual story was inspired by a science fiction novel and philosophizes about "becoming who you are". The musical realization is a multifaceted journey through the world of progressive hard rock. Energetic guitars and grooving rhythms alternate with ballad-like sounds and playful synth sounds. Surprising time changes and complex harmonies sound partly arbitrary, but therefore very exciting and provide a solid and complementary foundation for the varied vocal lines. Rounded off by complex song structures and arrangements with diverse nuances, the songs enjoy a strong musical identity and a high degree of recognition.
You can expect a rock trip that combines skillfully with metal and shines with catchy choruses and unusual instrumental parts.

ANCIENT CURSE | Special guest
ANCIENT CURSE is back in the successful line-up of the 90s ...with a vengeance!
With a total of nine songs their new album "The New Prophecy" offers an unbelievable range of sophisticated music without losing the red thread of the overall concept. The production is very powerful and transparent at the same time. THE MUSIC stands out for razor-sharp riffs, melancholic acoustic intermezzos, interesting vocals and complex arrangements. This was achieved by a longstanding team-work and most professional attitude towards music.
ANCIENT CURSE LIVE: Until now Ancient Curse always managed, either as headliner or support (e.g. for Rough Silk and Tankard), to win the audience over with their energy-packed liveshow. When staying in cuba - a big success of the band in 1996 - (as the first foreign rockband since the revolution in 1959) they brought the fans to a frenzy every evening. The song "Plastic Tears" from the album "The Landing" became a No. 1 hit in Cuba's radio rock charts. In addition, the musical quality has been acknowledged nationally through various prizes (e.g. Radio FFN "Local Heroes", "National Rock Prize").

LOFFT | Special Guest
Rock'n'roll doesn't need any fiddling - and the best proof of this is the Hamburg band LOFFT. LOFFT's songs are fast, direct and straightforward and immediately get the audience moving. That's why there's no time to get a beer at LOFFT concerts: If you pause for a minute, you've missed a minute. It's not always clear who is working harder - the band or the fans - but after the second song at the latest, everyone is at the same adrenaline level. This in turn leads to scenes that nobody would have thought possible beforehand: Hard-boiled metal freaks, for whom nothing else sounds like "bludgeoning down", suddenly rock out in cheerful harmony with Karohemd normalos, for whom the spectacle is "actually already too intense". And after the gig, they stagger arm in arm to the beer bar - but only then.
