Before Dean Lewis Grant Loaney dedicated himself to music, he played e-sports and represented Australia at the age of 18 at the 2005 World Cyber Games in Singapore in the game Halo 2. Inspired by a live DVD by Oasis in the same year, he began to focus on playing guitar and initially worked as a sound engineer. With role models such as Noel Gallagher, Bruce Springsteen and Ray LaMontagne, Dean Lewis tried his hand as a songwriter, who was only discovered and promoted after several attempts through a chance contact with the former manager of the band Soundgarden. Thanks to the success of his debut single "Waves" and its use in various US series, Dean Lewis quickly became known and laid the foundations for a career that made him one of Australia's most successful solo musicians. On January 9, he released his latest single "With You".
