Since 1982, the Professional Association of Visual Artists Munich and Upper Bavaria (BBK) has offered young, exceptionally talented artists from Bavaria a platform to present their artistic work to a broader public in the context of a group exhibition in the GALERIE DER KÜNSTLER*INNEN, a central location of the Munich art scene. In addition to the development of exhibition practice, print work is also an important medium for young artists to generate national visibility for their own work. Therefore, the second component of the Debutant*innen-Förderung is an accompanying monograph, which is financed with the support of the Free State of Bavaria and the LfA Förderbank Bayern.
