DeeCRACKS celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2023 and can look back on a long and eventful history. They started out as The Cretins in 2003 and had to change their name in 2007 due to a legal dispute. DeeCRACKS were born and their high-speed Ramonesque punk rock was to go around the entire punk rock world: Over 800 shows from Japan, China and Russia to Mexico, Canada and the USA, 6 LPs, many EPs, 7 "s, splits and even best-of albums. Austria's traditional punk rock flagship DeeCRACKS are workhorses and unstoppable in spreading their vision of rock'n'roll. They have toured with bands such as NOFX, Bad Religion, Descendents, Teenage Bottlerocket, CJ Ramone, No Use For A Name, the Bronx, the Dictators, the Vibrators, Radio Birdman, the Dwarves, the Queers, Chixdiggit!, The Hanson Brothers and many more. In addition, DeeCRACKS are one of only a few European bands to be found on the renowned US label Pirates Press Records and thus label colleagues of Rancid, Cock Sparrer or Bouncing Souls.
