We're putting the deep summer break behind us. On September 6, we'll be back in full swing with our event series, which is particularly popular in the LGBTQ+ universe. For the season opener, we are looking forward to Berlin-based Italian Budino, Deep initiator Erhyc and PhiPhi Cumfort as drag host.

Let's start with our guest of honor from the capital: Budino is something of a truffle hunter among DJs. She taps into all possible sources for new material that she can weave into her mixes. The result is highly acclaimed sets with a psychedelic undertone, enriched with dark, trancey beats, tribal percussion and cosmic sounds. When DJing, she also likes to use unique edits she has created, which means her sets are never "off the peg". In Berlin, Budino became known as a co-organizer of the Oscillator party series in the cult club Griessmühle, which was temporarily closed down but has now been revived. Soon after, she also became a permanent fixture behind the decks at Cocktail d'Amore, the notorious institution of queer hedonism. Budino's exceptional taste in music can also be heard on the fourth edition of the Love International Festival's compilation series "The Sound of Love International". She personally curated this sampler in 2022 and even puts the spotlight on old heroes of electronic body music (EBM) such as Kirlian Camera and Clock DVA.

Greats from the 80s and 90s can also sneak into Erhyc's live mix in special remix versions, as you could hear at the last Re-Act evening in the Kunsthalle. On his deep nights, however, he tends to switch to straight-forward mode and triggers a stampede on the floor with techy tracks. PhiPhi Cumfort, drag host at Deep in September, also gets carried away by this. She first appeared on Halloween 2022, quickly became one of the best at Lipsync battles and is hard to miss with her homemade feather dresses and neon hairstyles. Colorful and flashy, elegant and sexy, PhiPhi Cumfort always shines with unusual performances and wigs. We are already excited!

This also applies to the upcoming program at Deep. We'll spoil a bit: in October, Julie Fleischer, known to some from Radio 80000, will be behind the decks alongside Erhyc. Meanwhile, Rapha LaRue will be presenting himself in the spotlight as drag host of the month.
