Delson Lamarr Organ Trio

They are back! After a fierce show in 2021 in the unseated and sold-out domicil, the Power Organ Trio is coming back to domicil. Not to be missed!

With an infectious mix of soul, jazz and rhythm & blues, the Delvon Lamarr Trio is dedicated to the (almost) lost art of "feel good music". Their tantalizing grooves, lush sounds and lively jam sessions are always fresh and their improvisations are only enhanced by the undeniable chemistry between the musicians. A soul-jazz blend that goes straight to the heart and gets the body dancing.

The trio was founded in spring 2015. The band includes organist Delvon Lamarr, a virtuoso self-taught musician with a perfect ear who taught himself jazz and can play a variety of instruments effortlessly. On guitar is dynamo Jimmy James, who makes a splash with his Steve Cropper-style guitar, volcanic acid rock and Grant Green-style jazz. From Bellingham, Washington, comes drummer Julian MacDonough, who has been on the scene since Delvon first picked up the Hammond organ. To say that Julian is predestined for this trio is to say pure, explosive chemistry that is sure to get you moving.
