In his new book "Democracy and Pluralism", Dr. Alessandro Bellardita examines the question of what democracy really means. The majority often decides in a democracy, but this can be dangerous. The majority is not always right, and not all people are treated equally. Populists often claim to know the "true will" of the people, but exclude minorities. In his book, Alessandro Bellardita draws inspiration from the ideas of important thinkers such as Hans Kelsen, Hannah Arendt, Jean-Luc Nancy and Martin Luther King. Alessandro Bellardita is a German-Italian judge, university lecturer and publicist.
