Comics, graphic novels and political cartoons by international artists:
Democracy guarantees every member of a society the right to participate in all political processes. This goes hand in hand with the guarantee of fundamental and human rights. However, these guarantees have been and continue to be attacked and jeopardized worldwide - or not granted in the first place. The exhibition "Defending Democracy" presents political cartoons, comics and graphic novels by international artists that deal with precisely this issue.
The author Timur Vermes ("Er ist wieder da", 2012) will open the exhibition at the vernissage on 28.05.2025 at 19.00.
