Was ist uns Kultur wert?

In the organizer's words:

Germany is a cultural state. This is often claimed when it comes to the image and self-assurance of our country, but less so when we talk about the promotion and culture as a public mission. Especially in times of tight budgets and tough austerity measures, we must now ask ourselves once again: What is culture worth to us?

We want to discuss the value of culture and art as a medium and space for critical social reflection with:

Helge Lindh MdB, and
Soso Dumbadze, artist, Georgia.
Moderated by Fatima Çalışkan, author and director.
