With his biographical story The Old King in His Exile, the renowned author Arno Geiger has written a tender portrait of saying goodbye and getting to know each other.

His father's dementia shifts the boundaries of reality. The new changing times are characterized by humour, depth, disorientation, anger, grief, love, song and strange lightness.

In this poetic theater solo directed by Felicia Daniel, Boris Schwiebert takes his audience on a cheerful and emotional journey in which father and son meet anew. A journey that reveals the gains hidden in letting go.
