Based on the picture book by Oren Lavie
"Are you me?" says a note that the bear pulls out of his pocket. "A very good question," adds the bear and sets off through a wondrous forest to find out if he is "me". Here he makes "old friends" with the Comfortable Mountain Cattle, the Hemming Salamander and ends up at the Compass Tree. The only problem is that there are eight directions you can go in the wondrous forest instead of four. Which direction should he take? North, south, east, west, wrong, right, lunch or breakfast?
"The Bear Who Wasn't There" is a poetic children's book by Oren Lavie. It deals with big philosophical questions in an imaginative and loving way. Who am I? Which path should I take? What is truth? A search for meaning with all the senses. An imaginative exploration of materials accompanied by music and projections.
