"The Mountain Speaks to the Sea" is an experimental documentary that examines the transformation of work and life through energy policy in the Southern Caucasus. The film follows the rivers of the region and shows their path from the mountains to the Black Sea, mapping the social and material infrastructures around them. The narrative culminates in the EU-Georgia initiative to build the world's longest high-voltage power cable under the Black Sea, transporting renewable energy from the Caucasus to Europe. The documentary sheds light on how hydropower infrastructure shapes knowledge, political borders and governance.
