Der Berliner Satire Slam

In the organizer's words:

Why should Hanover become the German capital? What sentences would Friedrich Merz never say? And why should toe shoes be banned? In our show dedicated to political and socially critical satire, we don't just provide answers to these questions!

Four artists from the fields of cabaret and stand-up comedy combine the two art forms to create an evening full of punchlines and punchlines.

There's guaranteed to be plenty of laughter and food for thought at the same time: we're putting an end to cabaret acts that consist of more attitude than wit, and an end to stand-up comedy that only looks for the cheapest punchline. The evening is rounded off by the already legendary improv section, in which our artists react spontaneously to current topics and are sometimes allowed to answer bizarre questions. By then at the latest, we will know what Hanover and the toe shoes are all about.

The evening will be hosted by comedian and satirist Nico Hoffmeister, who will provide the perfect mix of cabaret and comedy with biting punchlines and subtle observations.
