The Bless Roast.

A roast is a special form of homage that has a long tradition in the drag scene: The guest of honor (the so-called Roastee) is given a round of humorous, sometimes crude anecdotes, pointed remarks and sharp-tongued comments. The aim is not to expose, but rather to pay tribute to the person in a way that is as unsparing as it is affectionate - spiced up with a good pinch of irony.

Typically, there are no strict limits to the humor - but respect, a sense of proportion and sometimes a pre-defined taboo ensure that the evening remains human despite all the cheekiness.

So if you've always wanted to hear what others really think about someone - packaged in razor-sharp punchlines and affectionate mockery - this is the place for you.
