Tradition, honor, discipline, excellence - these are the four basic principles that have always been taught at Welton Academy. But with the arrival of the young English teacher John Keating, the rigid traditions of the pupils at the boys' boarding school are suddenly broken up. In his unusual lessons, he motivates the pupils to develop their own personalities and to put the maxim "Carpe Diem! Seize the day!".
When his pupil Neil learns about the mysterious "Dead Poets' Club", of which Keating himself was once a member, he decides to revive the secret society.
DER CLUB DER TOTEN DICHTER is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals GmbH, in the name of and on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
