PIK DAME - Frankfurt's oldest nightclub in the Bahnofsviertel district is launching a new comedy format for special entertainment on 23.12.2023 with DER DOMPTEUR LÄDT EIN . True to the motto "Culture, Comedy & Show meets Bahnhofsviertel", regular comedy mixed shows will take place there during the cold months. In cooperation with the organizer S-Promotion EVENT GmbH, which hosts 450 events a year, the format will be held ten times a year in the legendary location from 2024.

The concept of the series is extremely promising. Three comedians make up the line-up for each comedy mixed show: an established comedian, a local artist and a newcomer. The tamer, the face of PIK DAME, hosts and presents the format according to all the rules of the art of entertainment in the cult location. Up to 100 people can be seated in the traditional nightclub. In addition to the comedy mixed shows, some artists will also perform their solos here. This platform is not just for newcomers or fans of the Frankfurt comedy scene. Established greats such as Nizar, Tamika Campbell and old hands on the comedy scene will also test their programs and play previews in the unique ambience of the former strip club. Whether Youtubers, podcasters, comedians or cabaret artists, the variety of artists is as diverse as the cult location of the Bahnhofviertel itself.

Max Coga, the third-generation owner, has established PIK DAME as the in-club of Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel district over the years. This year, the realization of the unusual game format came about rather by chance through a mutual acquaintance. With S-Promotion and the PIK DAME , two great pieces of entertainment industry expertise merge to form: DER DOMPTEUR LÄDT EIN.

"PIK DAME has been shining since 1959 with a variety of crazy artists, shows and events. My grandfather once said that a stage should be a platform for all kinds of nonsense and I share that sentiment. I've known nightlife for as long as I can remember and nothing has excited me as much as comedy and cabaret. It is a great honor to work with S-Promotion Event GmbH and I am sure that not only the shows will be unique in Frankfurt, but also that the past will be revived in a new way. I'm going to be my best customer and I'm looking forward to laughing my head off,'' summarizes Max Coga.

The organizer, Katharina Eifert, is equally looking forward to the collaboration: "We have been organizers and managers in the entertainment industry for 30 years and are always on the lookout for new talent. Depending on the show, tickets for the series range from €28 to €40.
