The Miskatonic Theater, the only horror theater in the world, presents "The Whisperer in the Dark", based on H. P. Lovecraft's classic of the same name. Lars Henriks (author of "Korridore" and "Dämonenjäger Ewald Heine" in the ARD Audiothek) has transferred the story from the 1920s into a gripping, modern setting between media studies, drug swamps and conspiracy theories.

The plot: Alina, a curious film student, comes across a strange request on her university notice board. She wants to film an interview with Eddie, a mysterious man who claims that aliens live in his garden. But is Eddie really just a crank? Or is there a sinister, cosmic threat lurking closer than Alina suspects? As events unfold, she is drawn deeper and deeper into a maelstrom of madness and surreal horror.
