From the innocent beginnings of DJing at private parties to the hardships of the German company party: Ralf Ilgner reads colorful short stories from a DJ's point of view, lovingly wrapped in music.

At 13, Ralf was pulled onto a dance floor for the first time and stayed there forever. The seventies with great songs by bands such as Sugarhill Gang, Queen and Police immediately seduced the Viersen native into dancing, throwing parties and DJing. And somehow it has stayed that way to this day. In a good four decades of partying and record hunting, Ralf Ilgner aka the Gardener of Delights has had more than enough time to pick up stories about music. From tape parties, flute sounds and repertoire overkill.

Today, Ralf Ilgner lives and works in Bochum and publishes new musical short stories every three weeks in his podcast "Tinnitus? Gema liable!"
