The next federal elections are due in a few weeks. So that's it for participation and opportunities for us citizens to shape the next four years?

Far from it, the members of Gestaltungszentrale Politik would say - and that's what they're going to show us. With their design atlas, interested parties can for the first time find out comprehensively and visually how political decisions are made in Germany and where citizens, party members or specific interest groups can exert influence. Although we live in an indirect democracy, it is not just "a few politicians up there" who make decisions: many different people are involved in the political processes, from party delegates to state ministers and experts in Bundestag committees. In order to better explore and understand this jungle of responsibilities and opportunities for intervention, the Design Atlas is now available.

The colorful overview map makes the world of politics and legislation easier to understand. Especially in turbulent times like the ones we are currently experiencing, it is empowering to see and understand how we can all shape our environment and the politics in our country, because: Democracy concerns us all!
