Puss in Boots has it all: he is cheeky, impudent and very clever. After the miller dies, his youngest son Hannes inherits him. He is a bit slow on the uptake and also rather lonely. So he's made a good choice with the cunning four-legged friend - even if he doesn't appreciate it at first.
Princess Caroline is also still waiting for her dream man so that she doesn't always have to play croquet and badminton in the castle garden with her father, King Konrad. Although the shady magician Homilius Horrifax has his eye on Caroline, the princess successfully resists a possible marriage.
In the eyes of the cat in boots, Hannes and Caroline are actually made for each other. But until the two finally find each other, he still has to go through many adventures and ultimately outwit the magician with his own means ...
