"Why should Hanover become the German capital? What sentences would Friedrich Merz never say? And why should toe shoes be banned? In our show dedicated to political and socially critical satire, we don't just provide answers to these questions! Four artists from the fields of cabaret and stand-up comedy combine the two art forms to create an evening full of punchlines and punchlines. There's guaranteed to be plenty of laughter and food for thought at the same time: we're putting an end to cabaret acts that consist of more attitude than wit, and an end to stand-up comedy that only looks for the cheapest punchline. The evening is rounded off by the already legendary improv segment, in which our artists spontaneously react to current topics together
and sometimes answer bizarre questions. By then at the latest, we know
what Hannover and the toe shoes are all about.
The evening will be hosted by comedian and satirist Nico Hoffmeister, whose biting punchlines and
the perfect blend of cabaret and comedy."
