The thief wanders aimlessly through a decaying, depraved city. At the top of a tower, he meets the alchemist. The enlightened man is gathering a group of mystical beings around him. Together with them, he wants to set off in search of the legendary Holy Mountain, because nine immortals are said to guard the secret of eternal life on its summit. Nine powerful challengers are needed to take on the guardians and wrest the secret from them. With the thief, the group is finally complete.
