The branch manager of a bank refuses his customer the urgently needed loan. No security - no credit. Money against money. Only cash counts. A word of honor as collateral only makes the branch manager laugh. He is pure relaxation. Nothing and nobody can upset him, especially not an angry customer who has the audacity to want money from him of all people. He would rather spend his time with the finer things, poetry, music. The fact that the customer is on the brink of ruin is of no interest to the bank branch manager. He has just made himself really comfortable in his life: Wife, house, child and a secure job.

Pressed up against the wall, the customer makes his condition clear: if he doesn't get his loan, he will sleep with the branch manager's pretty wife. The manager laughs as if at a bad joke and finally calls his wife to warn her. But this idea backfires: furious that she is worth no more to him than a loan of three thousand euros, she throws him out of the house without further ado. In no time at all, the course is set for the branch manager to fall into a precarious existence.

Refreshingly funny with pointed dialogues that make you laugh and also make you think, which take unexpected turns like the lives of his characters, Galceran describes how the balance of power is rearranged: Step by step, the branch manager falls into the clutches of the applicant until, in the end, the roles are completely reversed.
What to do? Loan against own wife? But don't panic, everything will be sorted out with a certain amount of money: Ten thousand euros for the loan and tricks to win Anton back should be enough ... or should it?
