Two real "Ossis" in dialog: The renowned journalist Petra Schwarz and our museum director, Gordon Freiherr von Godin, meet - over a glass of wine from the Graf Adelmann winery for everyone - for a special conversation in Weißensee.

It's about questions like: Why is the "topic of the GDR" still polarizing today? Which stories are told - and which are not? And what does "Eastern identity" mean - more than three decades after the fall of the Wall?

An exciting evening with insights, anecdotes and perspectives on a piece of German history that is far from over.

Our DDR Museum in Berlin-Mitte is one of the most visited museums in the capital. It gives visitors a lively insight into everyday life in the GDR - beyond clichés and political glorification.

You can also look forward to a wine tasting from the Graf Adelmann winery.
