In the organizer's words:
The Queer Ball opens up a space for people of all genders, generations and socio-cultural backgrounds to dance with free expression of gender and romantic diversity.
From 19:30, the Tuntenshow begins, a unique insight into a special artistic form of representation of the German-speaking queer millieu with a relationship to drag.
From around 20:30 - 01:00, the dance floor is all yours. Our DJs will play both ball and pop music.
We make no specifications regarding the genders of the dance partners and their gender expression. We look forward to your chic, creative, elegant and diverse outfits!
There will be a changing room on site. During the ball, awareness staff and a quiet / retreat room will be available. The Queer Students Group (QSG) is also offering a free dance class for beginners on April 6.
SOLI-TICKETS: A Soli-Ticket finances admission for one additional person. If you would like to attend the ball but the regular ticket is too expensive, please contact info@queer-hsg.uni-kiel.de. We have a waiting list and will get back to you a week in advance if we have sold enough solidarity tickets.
