An original production by seven women and mothers based on "The Book of the City of Women" by Christine de Pizan from 1405

In her feminist work, the author Christine de Pizan built a kind of utopian city during the Renaissance with the help of women who, throughout history, had lived a feminine alternative to the image of women common at the time.

With her work, the first professional female publisher fought against a widespread misogynistic "guide for men", the rose novel by Jean de Meuns. She won. 500 years later, seven women hear the "outcry" of an angry Christine, who has the feeling that her city will never really stand on stable foundations. She discovers cracks and fissures everywhere. She puts together a commission of headstrong and energetic women to get to the bottom of the problem.

A play for ages 12 and up, not just for women, with lots of humor, music and dance and a profound look into a 500-year-old building pit.
