Anna and Thomas want to get married and have invited the family to the Tyrolean Alps. Stephan is in a typically bad mood on the ski lift, reflecting on the current lives of the Böttchers, Wittmanns, Bergers and Königs: Anna has surprisingly made a career as an actress after all, Thomas is about to be promoted to the board of a real estate company - provided he passes the obligatory sensitivity training. Stephan's wife Elisabeth still works as a teacher, but is secretly supplementing the household budget with Bitcoin trading. And René, married to Dorothea and parent to twins for three years, turns out to be an overprotective helicopter father. Stephan himself was recently dismissed as a professor from the university; there was an incident. And with Cajus, 18, and Antigone, 17, Stephan and Elisabeth's youthful, wild offspring bring additional chaos to the hoped-for winter idyll. In the end, it's not just the planned wedding that is on the rocks...
