Public observations of the sky are a tradition at the Aachen Observatory. Weather permitting, there is the opportunity to make your own observations at the observatory telescope under expert guidance. Guided tours take place every week on Saturdays; there are no tours on public holidays. For dates during the school vacations, please call 0241 4792-111 or visit www.vhs-aachen.de.
When the sky is overcast, a lecture is offered as an introduction to astronomy with a demonstration of the telescope.
Guided tours start at 20:00 (October to end of March), 21:00 (April to end of September).
