Dying and saying goodbye are part of life. But what if, for example, the funeral costs cannot be easily covered by the relatives? Berlin mortician Eric Wrede and his team give us a deep insight into their work and how they deal with death - without fear of contact, with a great deal of honesty and empathy. For them, the deceased are not just a job and mourners are not just customers; every case is different. When a terminally ill friend asks the employees of the funeral home to accompany her, they too are pushed to their personal limits.
