Concert on the historical reproduction grand piano

It is often the hidden that exerts a special attraction. For example, the mechanical Steck "Duo-Art" reproduction grand piano from 1925, on which music is performed without a visible player. In this early form of mechanical sound recording, the pianist's playing is transferred to a paper roll, which - when inserted into a corresponding instrument - can be used to reproduce the music. In the 12th concert of our event series "The Invisible Pianist", we will once again be presenting piano rolls from the German Music Archive on our 100-year-old historical reproduction grand piano "Duo Steck Art".
