Series: Goodbye Stalin! Against authoritarian communism

The official German-Russian cooperation and friendship 1939-1941 - the "Russian stab in the back" according to Willi Münzenberg - brought about the Second World War, decisively determined the fate of states, nations and minorities in Europe, perverted anti-fascism and destroyed the left-wing unity of the workers' movement. Secret documents and private sources reveal the motives behind the non-aggression pact and bear witness to the now forgotten resistance. They deconstruct myths and manipulation and dismantle the web of lies that has been so powerful in the history of discourse. This is still denied in the East and suppressed in the West despite all European resolutions.

The multimedia performance with a commentator and two actors creates a scenic site of collective historical memory.
