There are only a few farmers who have settled high up on the mountain. They work hard for their daily bread and seek diversion in hunting and the occasional village festival...

They lead a hard but tranquil life and the modest inhabitants would actually be quite content if - yes, if it weren't for the curse! It is the fear of the mountain that always accompanies them. Because according to the curse that lies on the mountain, the Watzmann takes one victim after another. He has only spared one family so far. Is it only a matter of time before they too make their sacrifice? Can they resist the curse? Or will someone finally manage to conquer the mountain and break the curse?

Enjoy this completely grotesque alpine drama, where there's hardly a dry eye in the house. Let yourself be enchanted by this brash musical that rocks its way into the hearts of the audience. Look forward to oddball farmers and dorky farmhands. Be there when youth rebels against age!
