Der Zauberer von Oz on Ice - Das große Schaulaufen des Leipziger Eissport-Club e.V.

On March 22, 2025, the Leipziger Eissport-Club e.V. invites you to the big show at the anona Icedome!

This year, the club is presenting "The Wizard of Oz on Ice", freely adapted from the popular American children's book. Over 100 athletes will perform the story of Dorothy, a girl from Kansas who is swept into the magical world of Oz by a whirlwind. On her search for a way back to her family, she meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion and together the friends set off to meet the legendary Wizard of Oz. He sends the friends on an adventurous journey...

Over two hours, big and small figure skaters will perform a varied program of solo and group choreographies to whisk you away to the colourful world of Oz. In addition to a lovingly designed ice performance, there will also be food and drinks in the ice rink.
