Live podcast, music & vinyl in the pop-up bar - Session 1

Discover music with the creator in residence: on the second day, "Derrick Gee's Radio Weekender" will transform the bar in the Kaispeicher into a pop-up marketplace: there will be a live podcast on stage and, as a musical highlight, a short concert with academy musicians from the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. Derrick Gee will host the afternoon and talk to musicians and guests. Visitors can also experiment with six fully equipped modular synthesizer systems, browse through the record boxes of "Honey Bucket Records" and enjoy coffee and cake.

Derrick Gee discovers the Elbphilharmonie this season as Creator in Residence and shares his experiences with his 1.5 million followers on social media. After the first live event in Hamburg, the "Radio Hour" in November 2024, the Australian, who describes himself as a "professional music fan", is now creating an entire weekend.
