Desinformation: Wie erkenne ich Fake News?

In the organizer's words:

The Viertelladen stands for openness and tolerance. We are colorful and we are committed. For this reason, shortly before the election, on February 21, 2025 at 6 p.m., we invite you to a themed evening on "Disinformation".

We are in the final spurt before the Bundestag elections and new news reaches us every day. How trustworthy is it? Are there actors who creatively embellish events and realities or deliberately omit information? What tools are used to influence the opinions of large numbers of people? What are social bots and what rhetorical tricks are used? Who checks facts and who doesn't? Is a discussion worthwhile or is it pointless?
