Destroy Boys are taking off in 2024 - and with full force. Coming straight from the heart of punk and named "New Noise Artist To Watch" by Spotify, the four musicians from Sacramento don't let anything stand in their way, especially not genres: what began as a high school acoustic project in 2015 has developed into a band that energetically breaks down attributions and musical boundaries and uses punk as freely as indie rock and garage. The band has been an underground favorite since their debut album "Sorry, Mom" from 2017, which remained in the ear with hits like "I Threw Glass At My Friend's Eyes And Now I'm On Probation". With the release of their second album "Make Room", recorded in just four days under the direction of Martin Cooke, the four gained international attention for the first time. The Destroy Boys' final breakthrough came with their third album "Open Mouth, Open Heart", recorded during the pandemic. Lyrically, the album revolves around topics such as isolation, bullying and the pressures of the digital world - experiences that many young people can relate to. The energy and anger that drive the Destroy Boys' songs have already earned them support gigs for the likes of Blink-182 and Pierce The Veil as well as festival appearances at Coachella, Slam Dunk and Sziget. And big things are also in store for 2024: their long-awaited fourth album "Funeral Soundtrack #4", on which they collaborate with Mannequin Pussy and Scowl, among others, was released in August. Singles such as "Beg For The Torture" and "Shadow (I'm Breaking Down)" have been playing up and down the major playlists and on alternative radio stations. And last but not least, fans can look forward to an energetic European tour, including five shows in Germany.
