US rapper to play four concerts in Germany in spring 2025

After releasing several mixtapes, EPs and singles, Destroy Lonely entered the Billboard 200 at number 18 with his debut album "If Looks Could Kill" in 2023. His mixtape "No Stylist", released in 2022, had previously debuted in the charts at number 91. The songs "if looks could kill", "NOSTYLIST" and "Bane" have a combined total of more than 318 million streams and impress with the musician's atmospheric sound, which moves between contemporary hip-hop, synth-driven cloud rap and plugg-heavy trap. In 2023, Destroy Lonely featured on three songs from Ken Carson's "A Great Chaos" album, having already accompanied the rapper as a support act on his The X Man Tour in 2022. "Love Lasts Forever", Destroy Lonely's latest album, entered the Top 10 of the cross-genre Billboard 200 after its release in August 2024 and reached No. 1 in the US top R&B/hip-hop charts. After his own headline tour for his release "No Stylist" , Destroy Lonelywill also be coming to Germany in spring 2025 as part of his Forever Tour for a total of four concerts in Offenbach, Berlin, Cologne and Munich.

Bobby Wardell Sandimanie III was born in 2001 as the son of rapper I-20 (Disturbing tha Peace). His musical career began at the age of 14 when he recorded his first songs at school and worked on tracks with friends. The abuse of Xanax, which retrospectively destroyed him, gave rise to his stage name - DestroyLonely - which also refers to the fact that he often likes to be alone. After the joint project NezzusDestroyed, Destroy Lonelyreleased his single "Bane" in 2019, which brought him great attention for the first time. With the release of the mixtape "Darkhorse" (2019), Playboi Carti became aware of the rapper and his music video "Oh Yeah" in 2020 and signed him to his label Opium at the beginning of 2021. Prior to this, Destroy Lonely released the mixtapes "Underworld", "and "Overseas " (all 2020) as self-releases. After features with Playboi Carti and Ken Carson, his fifth mixtape "No Stylist" followed in 2022 and Destroy Lonely toured for the first time as a headliner to support the release of the mixtape. In March 2023, "if looks could kill" was released as the lead single from Lonely's new album of the same name. The longplayer "If Looks Could Kill", which was released in May 2023, reached number 18 on the Billboard 200 and, in addition to chart positions in Canada, Belgium and Lithuania, also reached number 4 on the US R&B/hip-hop charts.

Lyrically rooted in braggadocio, the musician also tackles personal topics such as relationships and love, citing The Cure, Crystal Castles and Deftones as influences alongside rappers such as Lil Wayne, Drake, Future and Young Thug. The current album "LOVE LASTS FOREVER" was released in August 2024, marking Destroy Lonely 's highest chart successes to date in his home country. On the record, "Love Hurts" feat. Lil Uzi Vert and "LUV 4 YA" as well as "THRILL" feat. Ken Carson stand out as the most successful tracks to date.
